Youths @ Your Art Lounge Competition

Attention, Parents of   Young Artists (And viewers — because you matter too!)

We invite you to take part in our Youth  @Art Lounge Competition: A celebration of curiosity, color, and courage
No entry fee.
Four age categories:

6–9 years, 10–12 years, 13–15 years, 16–18 years

 
Three winners selected by a professional jury will receive cash prizes — $100, $80, and $50,
as well as a feature in Your Art Lounge magazine.
 
At the same time, a People’s Choice Vote will take place on yourartlounge.com
The three audience favorites will also receive cash prizes — $100, $80, and $50, plus publication in the magazine.
(Each visitor can vote only once.)
 
In addition, the works of the top 10 participants from the public vote will be published in Your Art Lounge.

Please, note!!!!
The winning works and the top 10 runner-ups will be displayed in the Recital Hall at Gradus Ad Parnassum Music Academy
 
Each participant should submit photos of TWO artworks.

Elena Golubkova

Artist and educator. Winner of international fine art competitions and participant in major Bay Area exhibitions, including the De Young Open and Bay Area Open Art. Art teacher at Svoimi Slovami bilingual school. 

Alla Viksne
Artist graduated from the Moscow Academy of Art. Exhibiting since 1974, with shows in leading Moscow venues and later across California, Las Vegas, and Moscow. Member of Oil Painters of America and the International Painters Association. Based in Palo Alto, she has taught for over 25 years, with many students admitted to top art schools. Her works are held in private collections in the USA, Europe, and Israel.

Alena Mukhina

Artist, founder and instructor of the “Art of Young Students” studio. Active participant in art exhibitions.

Tetiana Taganska

Artist, co-owner of Imaginook. Board member of Fremont Art Association.  An active participant in international exhibitions, her works are in collections around the world.

Elizaveta Milogradova

Artist and teacher born in Moscow. Educated at leading Russian art schools; member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia. Awarded participant of international exhibitions. Over 25 years of teaching experience, integrating global art culture into education. Works primarily in oil painting, especially still life. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area; active in local art projects and a member of the California Art Club.

Olena Lytynska 
Artist and teacher with over 30 years of experience. Her students include graduates of prestigious universities and winners of art competitions.

Svetlana Kroz
Art historian, Promotional Director of Your Art Lounge Magazine. Media professional with 18+ years in Russian radio and television. Since 2007 in the U.S., she has organized cultural events, art tours, lectures, and creative programs in the Bay Area.

Julia Garamova

Art historian and musicologist, curator and exhibition organizer, Founder & Editor-in-Chief of Your Art Lounge Magazine. Lecturer on art and curator of cultural projects in the Bay Area.
