The autumn issue is coming to you

Our gorgeous “bumper issue” (92 pages!) is fresh off the press.

The autumn edition of Your Art Lounge is filled with true Californian sunshine and warmth—and it is fully BILINGUAL!

We dedicated this issue not only to artists and their paintings, but also to those without whose backing so many creative souls would have had a far tougher road. We are talking about art galleries and, in particular, art dealers—the visionaries who sell, champion, sponsor painters, and even lease canvases to the most hesitant collectors. We hope this exploration captivates you and inspires a visit to the galleries, taking you one step closer to the artists themselves. We also unveil the stories of five pivotal 19th- and 20th-century art dealers who practically invented this rare profession.

We are especially thrilled to feature an interview with the wonderful Sonia Melnikova-Raich. While she modestly insists that today she is “simply” a (dazzlingly virtuoso!) photo artist, her past is inextricably linked to the Soviet Nonconformists, whom she helped find their footing in America. Be sure not to miss our conversations with artists Alla Viksne (whose artwork graces our cover) and Max Komissarchik.

On top of that, we hosted an unforgettable Your Art Lounge evening where our guests, writers, and artists shone brighter than diamonds—make sure to check out our photo recap! Inside, you will also discover our regular features: Svetlana Kroz’s Literary Calendar, the Your Art Lounge for Youth section, our art glossary, and, rounding out the issue, our signature art quest.

And last but certainly not least, we have a wonderful sponsor: the Great American Framing Company, represented by the greatest friend of every artist and collector. If you are looking for the absolute finest framing for your masterpiece, Jamil Khayrulin is the one to see!

Happy reading!
